At 爱游戏电竞 we offer a far reaching programme of Enrichment activities. These range from exciting trips, to debates, to performing arts opportunities and volunteering to support younger students on their reading. Information is to be found on the enrichment timetables which are updated on a termly basis. Students are also made aware of the opportunities available to them through their Google Classrooms, PSHE and our notice boards. We are heavily involved in multiple national projects such as the Jack Petchey Speak out Challenge and awards programme, the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and the World Class Schools award.
Our students show their passion for community and charity work in the numerous fund raising initiatives they organise such as collections for various charities including Save the Children, Comic Relief and Christmas hamper donations for the elderly of Southall. We are also very conscious of how recent events have impacted on young people in our school and we have a strong group of wellbeing ambassadors, working to support their peers and be a place to share.
With our passion and interest in Sports and Science, many of our projects involve these two areas. Our Science Week each February allows for students to further embed their knowledge in this area in an engaging way, whilst our National Sports Week in June encourages healthy lifestyles, which are key to a happy life. Our house system is currently being redeveloped, and has given students various leadership programmes, opportunities for internal competition and vertical friendships and peer mentoring opportunities.
Following the recent disruption to external and internal visits, we are thrilled to be returning to our Curriculum weeks in the summer, when we collapse our timetable and organise a vibrant programme of trips, external speakers, visiting artists and workshops to support the formal and informal curriculum and help to increase each student’s cultural capital.
